So Mr L wants a Space Party this year and to be the star, I mean astronaut attraction 🙂

So duly I have hopped off to Aliexpress and found me some decorations (far too small!) and an astronaut suit (far too big!) – typical.. but we’re on our way.

Got me some Milky Bars, some mints (ufos!), a brownie pack so i can make asteroids.. some shiny silver balls and coloured sugar that I have no idea what I’ll do with yet. To be thought up lol. We are just having a small party this year, so don’t want to go overboard – just enough to make it feel special for him!

Picked out this amazing cake on Pinterest.. and ordered it from an amazing cake lady near us – I’m FAR too lazy to make a cake like that! lol 🙂 from Rad-o-Mama 🙂 Thanks for the great idea!

We’ll do ours a bit smaller due to the smaller guest list! Probably just the top 2 layers 🙂

And I’ve been busy making some puzzles and games with our SPACE theme 🙂

1. Space Pre-K Counting Puzzles – Outer Space Number Puzzles 1-10 + Missing Numbers

These are awesome for little people who are just starting to recognise written numbers. Cute pics and a fill-in challenge for little people 🙂

2. Space Bingo – Cute Space Themed Bingo Game for Preschool & K-2 kids

We love a good bingo game at our place, and this space one includes aliens, rockets, planets – all the good stuff 🙂 Just $2.50 over at my store 🙂

3. Space Number Puzzles – 20 Preschool Primary Space Puzzles 1-10 + Times Tables

These cute number puzzles are great for littlies learning 1-10 but they are also perfect for kids up to Year 2 who are learning to count in multiples, or skip counting. Very flexible  and great for a challenge!

We’ll do the usual – pancakes and hot chocolate for breakfast, presents and a big fuss, the off to kindy with some cute space goodies bags for his friends. On Sunday we’ll do the party with his non-kindy mates and the ‘real’ cake – the highlight! 🙂

Must go plan the food! Need to write me a shopping list!
