My kids love cute crafts. And I am always looking for easy crafts that don’t make too much mess for our kids Bible Study group on the weekend. And I hate lots of mess and cleanup – the last thing you want to do after looking after (lovely but exhausting) small children is need to vaccuum and de-tornado the place afterward as well. So:
My three most favorite Bible crafts of all time are:
Jonah and the Whale – this is a cute concertina-style Christian craft which folds out from the shape of a cute whale and tells the Bible story of Jonah and the Whale inside. Easily done with coloring, cutting and sticking only (my kind of craft!!) it only takes about 20-30 minutes to complete, depending on how fast your kiddies work. Mine like to take their time coloring. And it can take the longer time if some kids can’t do all the cutting themselves. But rest assured, with a bit of effort they will all go proudly off to mum or dad with their amazing Jonah and the Whale creations! (Big tick for you, you superstar!)

Daniel in the Lion’s Den – Another cute Bible craft is our Daniel and the Lion’s Den craft. Again, this only requires simple craft skills (no hot glue gun or glitter required hehe) and sends kids off to mum or dad with a cute lion which opens out to reveal the story of Daniel in the Lions Den inside.
What do I Need?
For both of these you will need a printed craft sheet per child, scissors, glue and coloring pencils or markers. Instructions for where to glue what are included on each pattern.
and finally…
For God So Loved the World – this cute Sunday School or Christian craft is a large cross which opens out and shows the Bible verse John 3:16 in the middle. Kids can add as much or as little coloring as they like – no glue required for this one! Just some clever cutting and decoration.
So there you go! I know it’s hard to find good Bible crafts for Christian kids but I am proud of these and the kids love making them – give them a go!
